Closure of the comm or someone taking it over

Hi all,

The ficathon hasn't run the last two years as I now unfortunately have little time for fandom.

If you would be interested in running the ficathon in the future, I'm happy to transfer owner/maintainer of the comm to one or more interested people (as well as the gmail address associated with it). It is a lot of work for one person,as a warning, to be fair. Comments are not screened.

Otherwise this community will be closed. All stories will remain here, but there won't be any new ficathons.

It'd be a shame to lose the ficathon. There's a very obvious decrease in NCIS stories (at least on LJ, I'm not checking any other places, I admit), so it'd be a wonderful to keep the ficathon going for more NCIS ficcage.

Hey, I'm totally open to co-running it. :) I think if we put our heads together we can make it run smoothly and we can make amendments to the current structure if need be.

Happy for you to do whatever you want to change/improve the running of the ficathon. To be honest, I'll probably be leaving the comm completely - I have moved on a lot from NCIS fandom.
