Membership of the comm is now moderated
Nov. 21st, 2010 11:00 amDue to all the spam that's been hitting comms lately (and the fact that two of my comms got spammed today) membership of the comm will now be moderated for a while. The only journals I will be rejecting are those that are obviously spam journals.
That is, if you have only just created the journal, have no posts and are members of lots of communities without any friends, I will reject you. If you are a legitimate person, please comment to a mod post to let me know so.
Also, what you as members of comms can do to help when a spammer has hit a comm? Hover your cursor over their username and 'report as bot'. The more reports that LJ gets, probably the faster it will get dealt with.
