Update, tighter rules for this year, poll about your experiences

This year, some changes will come into effect.
1. Writers will get no more than 3 weeks beyond the posting deadline to finish their stories. The one exception to this is if the story has turned into an epic. If you've had something medically wrong or your computer died or you're just plain busy, I'm sorry, but your story will be passed to a pinch hitter.
2. Pinch hitters will get 2 months to write. I can't really let this part drag out for 4 or 5 months. Lee way will be given where the story is close to being finished.
3. The ficathon will probably be open for sign ups at the start of April. Hopefully if we get an early start we won't run into Christmas ficathons.

I am interested in your feedback on the ficathon: suggestions for improvements, things you didn't like, things you did like; so if you could answer the poll below and provide any further comments I would appreciate it. People won't be able to see who's answered what on the poll (theoretically) so please be honest. I won't take anything personally or badly. All comments will be screened.
