Has anyone seen this story?

The story that was written for me for Round 6 of this ficathon seems to have recently disappeared, both from this community and fanfiction.net. The story was The Old Guard, by yamikinoko, whose LiveJournal has been deleted and purged; his account on ff.net still exists, but he has not responded to my messages.

I really enjoyed the story, so I'm kinda peeved about this. Do the mods know of any way that I can still view the story? I thought the Ficathon had some sort of safeguard in place to keep stories from vanishing like this.

And no, the comm has no safeguard in place. If the author posts the story to the comm, the author can also delete it. The mods have no power to prevent that, I'm afraid.
