Now that everyone has an assigned posting date, I just wanted to do a quick head count and ask who's still good to go or who might (or will most definitely) need to default.

I hope everyone will be able to post a story, but if you already know you won't be able to make it for whatever reason, please do let me know so that I can organize a pinch hitter.

Hello fellow ficathoneers!

Now that everyone has confirmed safe receipt of their assignments (and nobody has run away screaming...yet...*g*), the next step is to grab yourself a posting date.

Like last time, we will have individual posting dates.

So, next Saturday (April 11th) at noon Eastern time, I am going to post an entry where everyone can pick their preferred posting date.

Please note:
* we have 13 participants, so posting will be from June 1st through June 13th (one fic per day)
* posting date claiming is first come, first grab, so please do keep an eye on this comm on the weekend to snatch the date you prefer

Extension of Sign Up Deadline

We currently have 11 people who signed up.

This should - in theory - be enough to organize a ficathon, but a bit more variety would be nice. It would especially make it easier for me to assign the prompts!

So I'm going to extend the sign up deadline until Wednesday, March 18, 2015 (midnight GMT).

Please go forth and signal boost. Talk to friends and family, ask total strangers on the street if they're interested in participating! *g*

If you haven't signed up yet but have been thinking about it - please do! The more participants we have, the better.

Okay, everyone, we currently only have 5 (!!!) people signed up, and we really will not be able to run a ficathon with only so few participants!

If you haven't already signed up for the current round, please do so right here!

If you have already signed up (and even if you haven't), please do spread the word and pimp the comm in your own journal, make flyers and/or shout it from the tree tops. There are a couple of really wonderful pimpage banners that you can use right here. :)

Sign ups will close on March 15th. I may extend the sign up period for a few more days if there are still not enough participants by then, but I really hope it won't have to come to that..
