Ficathon doesn't run this year, or else someone else runs it

Hi all.

I will not be able to run the ficathon this year, as I won't have time to chase people up etc. while I'm finishing my PhD.

There are two choices:

1.) The ficathon doesn't run this year.

2.) Someone else runs the ficathon this year, and I take it back over next year.


Following the format for previous years, if someone else takes it over, sign ups would open mid April (be announced in a variety of communities, with permission from mods), close mid May, and be sent out by the end of May. Stories would be posted over a week at mid August, and then it's chasing up of writers and pinch hitters (which can be a long process).

I will still be around to help with any questions that the organiser needs to ask, can give access to the ncis ficathon email account, show any person who is running it how I normally run things (I do not want it to differ from previous years).

So, if you would be interested in running the ficathon this year, reply to this post. Comments are screened. Quite a bit of effort goes into running a ficathon, so don't think that it'll be easy as pie.
