Format for posting, posting opens tomorrow

As posting opens tomorrow, here is the formatting I'd really like you to follow. Please also tag your posts - there should hopefully be all the tags that are needed in the list, but if there isn't, I'll add any relevant tags and tag your post.

I will make another post tomorrow when the ficathon opens. For the duration of the ficathon posting period, please only post your fic directly to this comm. After the 20th, your fics may be posted elsewhere.

Just so you know in advance, the tag I'll need is not in the list. It's Gibbs/Ducky.

Also, can we link to the fic elsewhere? i.e. can I post to my Gibbs/Ducky community pointing to the story here, or can't we do that until after 20th?

Just a clarification on posting links elsewhere. To a general/small comm, fine, but to the main fic comms, not until after the 20th. Hope that makes sense.

I don't know what happened to the tag - LJ seems to have 'eaten' it. Sadly, I cannot see it.

However, as a Comm Mod myself, I know that can happen sometimes. For no known reason some people can see tags the first time, some can't see them until the Mod tags them for them, thereafter they can see them.

So I'm afraid I haven't been able to tag the story. It has a sub-pairing of Abby/McGee, but I wasn't sure if I needed to tag it that way as well.

Sorry about that - good old LJ again.

It is weird, it really is. I know it's a 'general' LJ thing because I've had talks with quite a few Comm owners and it's happened to all of them. I run two writing comms and set up tags when people sign up, and yes, some can see it/use it with their first story, some can't until I tag it.

I wouldn't mind if they could never see it until I tagged it, I'd know where I stood, but as it is . . .
